Nah, I'm sure he meant 'sync' cos he spelled it that way several times. Maybe it's an expression of 'synchronising' the tempratures, rather than 'sinking' the thermal energy? :-)

Anyway Duck - the glue Rodolphe uses is quite strong, what I did was to twist it back and forth until it gave. This left some glue on both heatsink and CPU which I removed by using a hard flat edge (a wallpaper scraper). Just be careful to either keep the CPU in a socket or in a CPU tray so you don't damage the pins. Take it easy.
