Re: CTCM and CT60

thanks for the responses guys.

unfortunately, i can't try macfalcon's hint since when i set some boot speed, cpx says i can't program ctcm without ct60 (since i'm in 030 mode i assume) and i should program it via modem2 (which is nice but unusable for me and i doubt it will solve the problem...)

since it works for you, there are only these options:

1. i'm such stupid i killed *two* ctcms when i tried to put them in ct60 (i wouldn't be surprised about the first one but i was really careful with the second!)

2. my lame soldering (or understanding what to solder) did some disaster which leads to point 1.) or there's a need to solder it more carefully and everything will be OK

3. my ct60 doesn't like ctcm for some other reason

what can i do:

- send my ct60+ctcms to rodolphe (100% solves problem but expensive and lengthy)

- unsolder(!) ctcm from my ct63 and very carefully put it into ct60 (this has to be done by someone really good in soldering, definitely not me)

- to meet with someone at some party and verify his ctcm in my ct60

as i'm looking on my options, every one sucks ;-)

just for verification -- what happens if you replace ctcm with normal clock (original one ftom ct60) ? it would be really 'good' news when it isn't working anymore -- in such case i did something wrong in soldering (since my 60 MHz clock still works)

i *hate* such stuff. hate it!!! (btw if you wonder, this is top-blocker for releasing ocean machine -- i can work in 60 MHz, yes, but I want to solve this issue first)
