I have one of those and it's almost perfect. I bought the strongest external converter the company had and I think it's 8.5v. The only problem with it is that I have to kinda "prime" the Falcon by turning it on, wait for the light on the PSU to come on, then turn it off, then back on. After all this, it boots up properly and gives me no problems.
My point is that the external adapter may not be strong enough, I'm not sure. The guy I dealt with suggested a 10v external AC/DC converter, but said I have to purchase that piece from a different company.
