I'm having one problem after another. So I connected a cable for a CD ROM on my IDE bus and I had no video. I bumped the cable and the monitor complained that it can't do 24khz. It's either 15.7 or 31 I think on bootup though. I fittled with the IO IDE cable and the keyboard little flickered in response when I moved the IDE cable.
Is it possible for a bad IDE cable to short out my video?
