Re: MINT Tutorial

Just a little update to let you everyone know what the status is on the MINT Tutorial. This weekend I tried formatting th 10GB IDE hard drive I found at work. Well long story short the first 126 sectors are bad which makes the root sectors unusable. This is not good when wanting to try and use it to install MINT onto it. So last night I ordered an 80 GB ATA133 7200 RPM 8 MB Cache Hard Drive for 36 dollars. That should be coming this week and with any luck I hope to have the tutorial finished late this week or early next week. At which time I will hand it over to Coda for examination and approval. At which time, we will upload it to our web pages and supply links to at least download it immediately. I will send it to the few people that have requested it via e-mail and if it is not to large I will post it on here for all to see. Please remember that this is just a couple of people's viewpoints on how to install EasyMINT. Surely there will be other opinions so be kind on the criticizing.

Later,
Falcon060
