Coda is right. My problem more specifically was related to setting the cache to R:\ which under Magic was my RAMDISK. So rather than saving stuff to the hard drive which is slow (cant wait for the CTPCI and hard drive controller drivers) I opted to save mine to the memory of my CT60 which is much faster. Well under MINT there is no ramdisk setup. So I have moved the cache to a FAT32 partition which in this case is E:\ drive. Thanks everyone for the help.
