i think i have a similar problem on one
of my f030 boards. probably about 14
years old too (which reminds me... i
should extract a tos 4.03 rom from it).
anyway, symptoms are: the audio works
for the first few minutes after bootup,
then one of the channels (don't
remember if it's the l or r one) fucks
up and goes almost quiet, but leaves
some noises at lo-frequent sounds,
as playing a module with heavy bass
or so...
anyway, this was interesting. should
maybe check this out with strider some
time.
