I havent used AHDI for a long time so I'm not sure how well it performs on 060 and if its safe to use.
Like Xerus said, are your disks old and knackered? Have you tried a new disk?
If everything runs fine when you use AHDI but breaks when you switch to HDdriver it sounds like your HDdriver is either a) broken (unlikely since you've tried so many versions) or b) not configured right.
Your best bet would probably be to contact Uwe Seimet (author of HDdriver) and ask him about the problem.
