Yepp, you're absolutely right about the bus snooping. :)

An example:
The 060 writes to an address in ST-RAM. The SuperVidel recognises the address range as ST-RAM and takes the value from the data bus and puts it in the ST-RAM "mirror" area of the graphics RAM, at the same time as this value is written by the ABE to the real ST-RAM.

This way the mirror area will always be a copy of the ST-RAM as long as all accesses to the ST-RAM is seen by our SuperVidel. Currently only accesses from the 060 can be seen, since the ABE chip doesn't let "transfer" bus operations on the motherboard to the bus of the CT60. (I believe)

So changes made to the real ST-RAM by SDMA, SCSI and Blitter cannot be snooped by the SuperVidel, until ABE is changed.

I think the 060 performs bus snooping to maintain its cache coherency also...
