Hello,
I have just received my Ethernat card for the CT60. My CT60 at 100 MHz boot really well, therefore not of problem of hardware for the moment.
I have installed ETHERNAT.XIF file on the Mint repertory (version 1.16.3 of the 08/11/2006) and ETHERNAT.INF file with a MAC address for the card, in my boot drive C.
I had installed with EasyMint (6-8 month) all the Mint distribution. I thus have a partition ext2 with the system Unix and MintNet.
In the readme file of the card one asks me to modify my configuration of MintNet to activate the Ethernat card by putting “en0” like peripheral.
I imagine that that must be in file etc, but I do not find anything…
I decide to pass it and I boot with Mint. In the screen when appear the parameters of MintNet, I have SLIP and PPP and the Mac address of my Ethernat, but initialization stops and I cannot go further.
Where I can find information (a howto not too old) to configure MintNet and activate my Ethernat card correctly ?
I will then wish to make test of transfers (by modifying with my CTCTM the speed of the 68060). My goal being in the first time, to check the good communication with my router ADSL (Clubbox - Hitachi AH4021), then to install samba under Mint and to make file transfer between my PC under Windows XP and also my notebook under Fedora Core 6/Windows XP.
Once that realized, I will transfert on my website, the photographs of the card (before and after assembly on the CT60), the adjustments and a helpfile to help those which will receive it soon.
Thank you by advance.
Florent
