How can i get HDDriver working
Posted by: AtariOwl Jan,20.2004-12:19

Any helpwith this would be very much appreciated.

When i first got my CT60 i was using HDDriver 7.0

THis was fine when i was in 030 mode but crashes as soon as it tried to go to desktop in 060 mode.

Fair enough i thought, its because its too old.

I used AHDI after that even though i was warned it could be problematic.

I've had no difficulties using it, but i am worried based on what Didier and Rodolphe have said concerning damaging the FATs.

Anyway i recently bought a backup Falcon with a large number of master disks, including several upgrade versions of HDDriver.

NONE work.
7.6, 7.71, 7.8

NOTHING works.

In 030 mode its fine.
In 060 mode every single darn one of them fails.

Even the demo of Version 8.1 fails.

Whats so different about mine that AHDI seems to work without problems and not a single version of HDDriver works at all?

It always fails after my auto folder programs.
Error 4. Illegal Instruction.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.
