Logic 2.5 Revisited
Posted by: Crash May,19.2006-14:33

After removing my head from my butt and replacing the fuse on my cartridge port, I am able to boot my Falcon with the Log3 Interface installed. So far so good...

I can now run Logic 2.0 on the CT60 Falcon. Logic 2.0 does seem to work properly with the CT60, even at 90mhz and the Falcon motherboard boosted. This could depend on your Log3, as I have heard that some are more sensitive than others. If you are getting a "no key" error, I would guess that your Log3 is not cooperating with your Falcon. This is the same problem that I have trying to run Logic on most Atari TT computers.

On to Logic 2.5, which is what I am really interested in using... Unfortunately 2.5 crashes 99% of the time when I try to start the program in CT60 mode. I did get it to run once somehow.

Most of the time I get this error:

EXCEPTION PROCESSING 4: Illegal Instruction

I tried to set the flags to various combinations of ST/TT ram, including the same settings as Logic 2.0 - with no change.

The crash/error occurs even if the Log3 interface is not installed.

Any ideas?

Anyone want to have a look at Logic 2.5? I can send it to you. If you are a Logic user, it is really much better than Logic 2.0.
