With regards to the original case/cpu heating issue on a CT60 or CT63, I've got a revision 6, which has a cpu cooler fan, and also an additional 120mm fan sitting on top of the case grille, on the left hand side, just about where the accelerator is.
The CT60 is well back, so there is little direct cooling effect, but the extra fan does remove the stale air and heat build-up inside the case.
This made all the difference with my original rev 1 cpu, from a machine which went unstable after an hour or so, to a reliable workhorse which could run all day :-)
So this could be a possible solution.
