There are some issues..
1. Do you have the data files for quake1 ? If not it has nothing to work with..
2. If you have the files, is it depacked? I don't think dougquake fixes one-big-file quakedatas.
3. did you try it from mint? then if you have an old tos (like before middle of august or so) the fpu won't work and dougquake will crash.
