This is just a guess on my behalf, but I would try changing the PSU and see if that affects stability.
I had started to get some really weird problems with my ct60 a few days ago. It would start up, but it crashed very often when I tried starting Magic, or even earlier just after the SDRAM memory test. At the same time I had just bought a new PSU for my pc, because it had broken earlier. I tried the new PSU with my CT60, and suddenly it was stable as a rock. I tried many times, and not once did it crash like before. I think I'll buy one for my ct60 too... :) The new PSU I bought is a Zalman ZM300A-APF 300W.
