Hi there, I'm going to write some explanations about how I use MegaTracker Player 1.15 on Falcon CT60 :-)

First of all, I've just made a snapshot of MegaTracker playing a 8-channel S3M music: http://strider.mjjprod.free.fr/pour_sites_web/megatracker.gif

Here is my complete config:

- CT60 at 66 MHz, TOS in RAM, Blitter: on and fast, TOS: normal

- no boosted motherboard

- last CT60 firmware (July 2005)

- MiNT 1.16.1, NVDI 5.02, Thing 1.27, NAES 2.0

First of all, this player isn't so stable even in 030 mode. Before my CT60, I remember I experienced some crashs especially with big files containing a lot of channels.

Before using this player, I always turn the 060 caches off. The flags for the player are: fastload on, program in TTRAM, TTRAM allocation, memory protection: private.

I also tried with no fastload, exe not in TTRAM, no TTRAM allocation and memory protection set to super, but the results are the same.

To play a soundtrack, I only double click on it (or just 1 right click with Thing). The other ways to play a file are not recommended:

- It often (~50% chances) freezes when I use the LOAD button in the interface

- It sometimes (~25% chances) freezes when I drag and drop files in the main window

- It *always* freezes when I use the playlist :(

Moreover, I tested some files:

- 4 & 8 channel MODs: ok

- 4 & 8 & 16 channel S3Ms: ok

- 10-channel XM: ok

- 4-channel DTM: ok

- 12-channel DTM: freezes the Falcon

(I don't have a lot of XM, DTM and S3M files to do more tests)

Ok, last time when I wrote "it works fine" that's not 100% true, but the replay routines seem to be ok. I don't know if the player is stable if it plays S3M, DTM or XM files during hours and hours, but I know it is quite stable with 4 and 8 channel MODs.

As the sources of MegaTracker player are probably lost, maybe it would be possible to add more soundtrack formats in Yes Crew's GemMod?
