well, yes, you cn replace the whole chip after ordering from best electronics or similar, or cut the upper half
of the existant chip and replacing the battery observing the polarity...
I did the latter patch and added strong lithium battery...it doesnßt look nice but it works great ;)
there was an excellent article about it in do it f030 archives...check it there...
