1) Apparently no you don't need to use CT60 bus upgrade. So far I think every 3rd party bus upgrade works fine with the CT60 from what I can tell
2) That is correct. Mobo power comes via floppy power connector. Nothing on the falcon power connector. You'd also be wise to electrical tape over the falcon power connector as it's large gaping +12V and ground. Not good IMHO.
