yup, I had a worn out keyboard which behaved alike, but there was also a bug with boosted motherboards which had similar symptoms but it could not be your case since you hadn't boosted it...
I fixed my old keyboard (needed re-soldering), but also got an eiffel - great investment, don't think twice ;)
