Summvm exist and its on Ptrice Mandin page, as well as other ports, QUAKE, HEREETIC, and DOOM a new version 0.31.
Of course to play you need original game files for example .WAD for DOOM, 1 or even 2.
The problem of ports is that it dont serve full game because of early stage.
So it could be much better to port some good EMULATOR ie. DOS emulator when you will be able to run any of PC game, i hope we will se somethoing like that a DOSBOX or other emu's.
Amigas have MAC emulator which run perfectly and they can run anything like games, soft...
