CT60 TOS archive updated v1.03
Posted by: Didier Méquignon Feb,13.2005-17:14

Hi,

I have updated again the CT60 archive (boot & CPX 1.03).
There are a new patch for boot on the old Caviar drives without floppy disk.

But the main feature is the Programmable Clock Generator, the ideal solution for get the best frequency of your CT60 !

I have used a module from http://www.ak-modul-bus.de/shop/index.htm. This module use a Cyberclock CY27EE16 from Cypress.

The CT60 TOS and the CPX test if the module exist. It's possible to change the CT60 clock between 50 and 100 MHz by step of 125 KHz.
The Programmable Clock Generator is installed on the CT60 oscillator socket.
Sure there are limits fixed today at 80 MHz for the 060 rev 1 and 110 for the 060 rev 6.
You can change the values on the fly for do some speed tests, or change the boot frequency.

The documentation is on-line, main link inside http://ct60conf.atari.org or else http://perso.wanadoo.fr/didierm/ct60/pclock-e.htm
I have just replaced the module schematic by a CY27EE16 synoptic, but you can found the schematic on the HYP documentation from the CT60 archive.

Now the best...

Rodolphe can create a little module for the CT60, needed for install an Ethernat and a Supervidel card, for a better price (30 EUR) if there are lot of peoples interrested (40 or more I think).
With the possibility to put an oscillator for program the clock generator with the CT60 during the first time (my solution with the ak-modul-bus use the 030 mode and a Modem 2 link).

Please contact rodolphe if you're interrested by a new module !!!

Regards,

Didier.
