Well, I think I discovered my problem. I think I was using an old or corrupt version for the def.all song.
The sample rate was being changed at mixdown, but there was no notification of this. When I restored the def.all song file, I began to get notices of the sample rate change. Since I had more than one sample rate going before it was freeking out the system.
