Hi!
I just wanted to announce that the EtherNat prototypes are being manufactured now. I will receive the boards on friday if all goes well. Then there will be a busy weekend soldering the components. I began ordering samples of all large components last week (yes, for you too, Rodolphe :) ), and some of them have now arrived. Unfortunately the CPLDs won't arrive until mid next week, so all we can do this weekend is solder the LAN-chip and some capacitors and connectors, but the boards will be "dead" until we get the CPLDs... :/
I believe the prototypes will be finished and tested sometime during February or early March, so now is a good time to start saving your money if you want one of these boards. :)
We think the board will cost 120 euro (including Swedish VAT (25%!) for all EU-customers), but we haven't done any detailed calculations on what the components will really cost. The price will be adjusted (hopefully downwards :) ) if it differs from our initial assumptions by any large amount.
