I can provide a fast C2P written by Mikael Kalms (Amiga coding expert) which is optimized for 060 (and before anyone mentions it; yes it is made for Atari-style bitplanes, not Amiga-style).
However I will not patch it into libsdl. Mail me if you want the code and to update sdl with it.
