I think the most economic solution will be using an additional ATX (cost about 3 euro) and floppy drive power supply cable that come out the back of the falcon in combination with a standard ATX power supply. This way you can keep the falcon closed when undoing the power supply (like a Commodore C64 and Amiga).
I don't want to build the falcon in a PC tower. A lot of the charm of the Atari gets lost that way i think.
