Sorry, you're right, I verified yesterday evening, no need of any jumper on the CT60 to work.
The only thing is that when the extenders are soldered that doesn't work ? Have you tested the continuity on the little PCB when soldered ? I remembered that my wife soldered this little PCB in the garden... lol !!! I verified the continuity, everything was perfect... So... hope you will find something... :(
