Samf, a jtag cable is used to upgrade the two programmable logic chips on the CT60, namely the ABE (main logic) and SDR (memory controller). What it means to us is that eventual bugs that may still be in the hardware can be fixed without much hassle. Early (beta) versions of the CT60 needed some upgrading but i'm not sure if its really neccesary for newer boards, atleast from the latest batch.
And about jtag's in Holland, why dont you hook up with D-Force? He's even known to produce his own cables.
