I have flashed to lastest firmware.
MP3 and mov files plays ok in aniplay in both videl and radeon mode.
I use the menu to change DSP mode on/off as well as sound on/off (this I can hear it working) without any freezing.
Which menu action make it freeze for you.
My system is running on 95MHz and radeon 7500.
Sorry I did not test system before flashing to latest firmware.
