i use bconin in a lot of stuff and i've had it bug out when available processor time for USER mode stuff gets tight. i've never been sure why. doesn't the godcode lib. feature a replacement for bconin? some day soon i'll move my code over to the ct60 machine, so i don't know the specific way conin gets garbled by the ct60.
scancode to ascii table may be necessary for the time being.
