TBH I never encountered this, but I'd try the following:
-Make nvdi.prg read-only.
-Rename nvdi.prg to something else (f.ex. nvdi.old) and then copy a fresh nvdi.prg to the auto folder (well, and sorting the execution order). That'd made sure that it doesn't occupy the same clusters again (it might very well be that there are some about-to-get-bad sectors on your drive).
