This is a follow-up from an earlier topic. I mentioned that I wanted to display European graphics demos and games on my large screen TV. My large screen doesn't have a vertical hold and won't display 50hz refresh (NTSC is 60hz).
I finally received both devices and tested them out today. IT WORKS! The

is more than a scan rate doubler, it scales the refresh from 50hz to 60hz so there is no picture roll, then another (cheaper) converter, takes it from VGA back down to s-video, component, etc.
This is the BEST picture quality I've ever had on any ST or Falcon going to my large screen. But best of all, I can show the European demos and games on it without "roll" and in color!
Also, RGB only games and demos (both ST and Falcon) can be shown on VGA/LCD monitors!
I know this information may not help most of you, but I thought since it means so much to me, it's worth mentioning.
