Hi!

I can only guess here, but that's what you wanted. :)

The SV contains a three-output regulator generating 2.5V, 1.8V and 1.2V respectively.

The 2.5V (linear regulator) draws its power from the 3.3V of the CT60 and may provide max 300mA (2.5V * 300mA = 750mW). It is used only for auxillary stuff on the FPGA.

The 1.8V (switching regulator) draws its power from the 5V of the CT60 and may provide max 3A (1.8V * 3A = 5.4W). It is used for the DDR2 memories and corresponding interface of the FPGA but I'm pretty sure they won't draw as much as 3A. Max 1A sounds reasonable.

The 1.2V (switching regulator) draws its power from the 5V of the CT60 and may provide max 3A (1.2V * 3A = 3.6W). It is used for the core of the FPGA and I think at most 2A is realistic here. Maybe more when we try adding the 3D and MPEG-stuff.

On top of this add another 1W for the DAC, DVI and other ICs. Total around 10W...

One thing I'm pretty sure is that the SV will not force you to buy a 500W PSU... :)
