1.04 is PRE-ALPHA
1.03c is the latest STABLE release.
Id go with 1.3c - I put 1.04 onto mine only in the hope that it would get my CT6x working again.

The unknown flash issue can be sorted out by using the CPX module from the latst CTPCI_404.LZH archive, however, that does seem to be corrupt.
The CPX is extractable however, but for me, it crashes on clicking OK.
I have also noticed that the CPU TEMP ACC no longer moans that it does not see the CT6x, but it has NEVER read the temps - even with the fix.
But at least it no longer moans
