It depends on the code - self modifying code will most likey have troubles due to the large cache of the 060. Using full 32-bit adresses doesn't hurt either (eg $ffff8240 and not $ff8240). Alot of movep instructions will make the 060 act slower than the ST (movep is emulated).

Other than that I guess it will work fine.
