Hi,

One thing that bothered me with ST games was that most of the time the software house/publisher wanted an exact copy of the Amiga version which meant reusing more or less the same graphics rather than redoing them to reduce colours/size to match the ST capabilities.

So, try making the sprite graphics as optimised as possible with regards to register reusing and all the tricks you mentioned instead of the other way around, adjusting the code around the graphics?
