I've just tried your code on my ST and I got the same results however if I did it the traditional way of clearing $fffffa1b.w setting the line and then doing move.b #8,$ffffa1b.w it works OK so I'm assuming not doing it this way the MFP still holds the previous value in $ffffa21.w when the next interrup is triggered and the value is changed later on during or just after the next interrrupt.
