yeah, ray is right, these are basic references that could be found on the net. what a shame motorola didn't make digitalized copy of their older manuals so it's practically impossible to get dsp56000/56001 user's manual - I've got my one only thanks to Xi/Satantronic who made a copy of the original one in some university library. This UM is quite good reference (timings, instructions, exceptions ...) but as I say, very unreachable.

The next "source" of knowledge are the dsp coders themselves - I remember how offen I had to nag earx and no with total lame questions (sorry guys ;) since there wasn't another possibility to get that infos...

So, DSP coding isn't easy way, however, that result (and feeling you did it) is really great!
