All regs to $0000 = black background, white text

All regs to $0fff = white background, black text
That's how Hatari treats it, I don't have a sm124/144 to try.
So if I understand the "question" right, you want to have a complete black screen for both bitmap and background. It doesn't seem to be possible if Hatari is to be trusted. It's either white background with black text or inverted.
