I have to confess that I am now at the end of my teather with this random crash bug whilst firing in my game.
I have studied the code over-and-over and I cannot find anything visibly wrong with it.
The only thing I can now assume is that there is a problem with the joystick routine.
I have to confess that the joystick routine I use was ripped out of the game A Prehistoric Tale some 20 years ago and I always assumed was pretty good.
So does anyone have a joystick routine I could use or compare to the one I currently use.
The routine needs to be able to put on the keyvector ($118) and doesn't use any traps.
Once again full credit will be given in the game.
