Not really :(
In an ideal world the two channels would be seperate. I could then play the players SFX on one channel - it doesn't matter if these samples interrupt each other mid-play and then play the samples of the aliens exploding on the other - without being interrupted.
BTW all samples are in 12.5khz mono.
