Hello together,
is there a certain way to determine the current VBL frequency on the Falcon?
E.q. is it 50 or 60Hz?
On the ST, it is easy, I would simply pol the Syncmode register and decided either 50 or 60Hz. TT is easy to as I have been told it is always at 60Hz on TT.
But how about the Falcon?
If I detect a VGA screen, I can assume 60Hz (if I only use the predefined XBIOS modes such as a ST-LOW compatible one).
But what shall I do for RGB screens? Can I use the ST-compatible register there too or is there some more clever way?
Maybe a part of the XBIOS descriptions eluded me.
Any useful input appreciated!
