somebody tell me, why it... err... The HD drivers on ST(e), do they use ABCD timers and/or the vbl hooks ? or just the FDC/HDC interrupt ?
I'd like to know if it's safe to replace the system vbl and timers and then call GEMDOS to read a file from a hard drive.
