Back in '91 or maybe '92, I exported the palette from my 1040STF (That's right, built-in floppy, but no RF! If I still had it, I could prolly get MILLIONS for it!), and it was:

00 777
01 700
02 070
03 770
04 007
05 707
06 077
07 555
08 333
09 733
10 373
11 773
12 337
13 737
14 377
15 000

(in medium rez, colors 03 and 15 change place)

If nothing else, since the color component values are only 0,3,5 and 7, you could pack it into 2-bit values, but the code to expand them would almost certainly be longer than the palette itself...
