i did do the same thing, i.e. ripped some other code but when you take a look on that code, it's quite easy -- when you know how to setup simple dma playback, it's just matter of setting that matrix -- you set DMA record mode I believe (i.e. destination is some buffer in ST RAM) and as source you use that DSP. Then you just need to enable SSI interrupt in DSP (or use polling) and here you go. Nice example is Earx's player (can be found in sources of his recent demos) but it works in opposite direction of course (playback instead of recording).
