on the dsp side: so called "dma mode" can be set up using the host port exception. on the host side: because there is no dsp controller availiable to handle handshaking and sending data, true DMA transfers can not happen. Therefore; any emulator can safely exclude DMA transfer via the host port.
"DMA like" transfers can take place via the SSI port but that emulation would be part of the falcon sound DMA/matrix emulation.
