STFM question
Posted by: ggn Jan,25.2009-12:58

Hi all,

I've been pondering about this lately, but couldn't find any firm answer: Does reading and writing $ffff820d cause a bus error on stfms?

Inside hardware.txt I find the following:

$FF820D|byte |Video screen memory position (Low byte) |R/W (STe)

Which I assume will cause problems if accessed from pre-ste machines. However both SainT and hatari versions I tried don't seem to have any problems. But still I have my doubts.

So, could anyone provide a firm answer please? (from experience or testing on real hardware)

Thanks!
