Moving on from justifying the special feature topic, here's some thoughts on that Kalms interview :-)
It was a bloody good interview! And the timing and positioning was just about perfect too, even in spite of the fact that it would have been great to go in something like Alive. Maybe if our Xmas special had been a couple of weeks or so later ;-)
Anyway, it was all interesting, especially what he was saying about their baseline hardware booster, the Blizzard turbo board. At 50 mhz and with worse bus support than the CT60, they still manage to crank out those killer demos! Maybe they should do a port of some of their demo's to the CT60 after all ;-)
Also interesting what he said about PPC Amiga (overrated for the first generation, arf!) And what his thoughts were on the 20th anniversary megademo. It seems the Amiga 500 may have won the original 16-bit format war, but was outlived by the ST in the end, the latter machine being better loved and cherished!
The Amiga cult was a supernova in its time, but it burnt itself out!
And yes, I hope it does motivate some people towards Easter :-)
