After all this fuss over making the most number of 2 plane non-masked 16x16 double-sinused sprites in a frame, how come no-one has even tried to beat New Mode and Oxygene's record of 8200 stars (with Quartet tune) per vbl? I know I'm not really a person that goes in for coding this optimised stuff (even if I have an original star-rout by Electra somewhere). But I think that the reset screen in 'Punish your machine' look's much better than the ball-records.
