Yeah, but alot of PC's were not upto that sort of spec when Doom was released...it played ok (better than Falcon) on a mates old 25mhz 486 SX, onboard GFX etc...
I just thought there may have been 1 particular thing on the Falcon that crippled it above all other things.
So if the DSP had been DMA, we would have had a fairly bloody playable doom port?
