Hmm, so you use only STE-Colours and Hardware-scrolling. I thought the Blitter would have been able to switch colours faster than the cpu, at least it seems like that in those blitter plasmas.
If this is true, it would allow you to remove some of the display artefacts in future versions.
Beside I think it's rather strange that the demo is out of sync in both Emulators. I always thought Arnaud had determined the cpu cycle consumption of every possible M68k instruction. Maybe i was wrong about that ;) However that was the original reason that made me think you used the blitter for colour switching. (I will use bugaboo next time instead of guessing :)
